About Teresa Danko
Born and educated in London, Teresa grew up travelling throughout Europe with her family. Fluent in Italian, she began her career in Italy, teaching English at the Business School in Ferrara. Her next job was in client relations for British Airways, supervising services in the Concorde Lounge of London's Heathrow Airport.
Teresa later worked on multi-national accounts such as Proctor & Gamble and Philip Morris at the advertising agencies J. Walter Thompson and Leo Burnett. She then moved into the music business in London where she promoted international tours for English acts.
In the U.S Teresa worked as a Travel Consultant in Newport Beach, California and Boulder, Colorado, creating and booking luxury vacations for private clients.
In New York she worked for the global talent agency International Creative Management, arranging promotional tours for bands and coordinating travel for clients working on international locations.
Teresa raised four children with her international banker husband. She has personally made six international relocations and twice moved across the United States. She has exceptional knowledge of public and private schools in the U.S. and the U.K, as well as public and private healthcare in both countries and on the European continent.
Teresa has chaired and organized benefits for numerous non-profit organizations, both in the U.S. and U.K. She truly enjoys helping others, doing volunteer work for many charities, including being trained and serving as a counselor to teenagers for ChildLine.
